Episode 3: The Mighty Mites

In the 1940s, a group of boys from Lynchburg, Virginia came together to play sandlot football at Miller Park. Led by their beloved coach, the team went from playing local games together in Lynchburg to going all the way to the Pop Warner National Championship in Philadelphia in 1948. Here's the story of that team as told by one of its players, J.P. Vaughan.
